Founded in 1950 as a school bag maker in Osaka, IKUTA aims to "provide really high-quality school bags" that can last through the 6 schooling years of an elementary school student. They are particular about using genuine leather, never follow trends, and stick to traditional bag making techniques by a small number of elite craftsmen, albeit inefficiently.
"𝐈𝐊𝐔𝐓𝐀 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐍" is a brand created with the concept of "carrying on your back", reminding adults of the excitement of carrying a school bag for the first time in their life.
